It is an old thing, producing whisky. Developped in medieval age, the basic process hasn´t changed. Hence it might wonder that every malt whisky shows his own character. But, looking closer, many details vary - from the used barley to the still shape; besides the basic procedure you will find more differences than similarities between distilleries.
